How can I mass update Parent Link in Epics?

I am trying to Bulk Update Parent link to list of EPICs which are 30 in my case as in the below screenshot, but it is not working.  Is there are limitations to link Epics to parent Initiative ? 
Note: We have linked more than 1000 epics to the same Parent Initiative.

If there is any limitations to this please let me know how many Epics can be linked to Initiative in cloud.

Please let me know how can I update Parent link to list of Epics without Jira Admin access.

Do you access, right permissions to the projects where the initiatives reside?

Browse, Create, Edit, etc...

I have Browse, Create, and Edit Permission to the project where the Initiative is resides.

Note: I do not have Jira admin Access, but don't think that is required for bulk update right ?

I think I have read this wrong.

If you want to change the parent of Epic, you should JQL the Epics and bulk update the parent link.

Have you been granted the global permission "Make bulk changes" 

Otherwise check with your Jira admin.

I am trying to update Parent Link field in the list of EPICs, which I have provided the screenshot. In the JQL i have 29 EPICS, which I am trying to click on Bulk Change ==>Edit Issues ==> Change Parent Link , as in the above first screenshot I have attached where I am trying to give the Parent Issue Key I am getting no matches found.

Note:  As mentioned to the parent, which is  "Initiative" I have linked more than 1000+ Epics previously, but now it is not working.

Is there any limitations to link child issues "Epic" in the parent "Initiative"??

When I try to update parent link in the Epic individually by opening single Epic rather than bulk change from the JQL I was able to update the Parent link of initiative in the single Epic.

I am not sure what exactly the issue when I try to bulk change the JQL, can you please help me what exactly causing the issue for bulk change

Hi,

Parent is replacing Epic Link in Jira.

So this is related to parent/child between Epic and Story level.

Parent/Child level on Initiative and Epic is only possible in relation with Jira Advanced Roadmap (Plans), this requires a cloud premium subscription.

If you don't have this you can't use it in the way you want as the is no option to set a hierarchy.

I have the premium subscription for cloud, can you please guide me through the steps how can I add the parent child relathion between Initiative and Epic in Advanced Roadmap.
