Hi everyone,

I have been tasked with being able to have users create an issue but have a tick box where they wish to make the issue discrete. So make them anonymous for health and safety reasons or if they wish to make a complaint.

The tasks makes sense however I can't think of a way to do it as Jira essentially gives access. Just wondering if there's anybody out there that has either come across this or done it themselves?

Thanks in advance for the help.

Hi,

I would take a look at Issue-level Security:
https://confluence.atlassian.com/adminjiraserver/configuring-issue-level-security-938847117.html

In your setup you would need an Automation rule triggering when the field is ticked on the issue, then have the automation rule apply an Issue Security level, showing / hiding it for certain users, groups, roles..

Hope this puts you on your way!

Regards,

Jeroen
