How can I link and display an image in dashboard Rich Filter Text Panel?

How can I link and display an image in dashboard Rich Filter Text Panel? I've tried linking from the internet or from an image in an issue in Jira. From the issue I get a 404 error. From the web, I can link to the image, but not actually display it in the gadget. Is it possible to do this?

We recently moved from Jira DC to Jira Cloud and used to have an html gadget, which is no longer available in Jira Cloud.

Hi @Robert Brisson 

I was able to add an image to the test page by clicking on the image icon

once the image is in place click on the ellipsis and add the link.

I just realized your question was for Jira. I am assuming this text editor is for entering comments. Is it the same across different projects? Did you try different browsers?

I tried and browsers don't affect the options.
