I would like to create a way for my team to enter feature requests directly into JIRA through slack, but I have other JIRA projects that I do not want them using.
Is it possible to limit visibility of projects displayed when creating an issue through slack?
I believe on cloud you associate the slack bot with a single project. https://slack.com/help/articles/218475657-Jira-for-Slack
Thanks Brant, you can associate slack with a single project BUT this only seems to be for notifications only (JIRA > Slack) but not for creation (Slack>JIRA)
My hope is that there is a solution where I can make some configuration changes in JIRA to block the slack app by project because there does not appear to be a solution where the Slack menu will let me configure this connection.

I know this is years later, but still having this issue.
If you use the Jira Cloud app you will be able to create requests for all projects in the Jira site, even if it is selected as "Restricted".
This seems like a huge miss.
