Hello Community,
I am a beginner and currently learning Jira Cloud for my college projects.
I want to integrate Jira with GitHub and I have the following questions:
What are the steps to integrate Jira Cloud with GitHub?
Do I need to install any app from the Atlassian Marketplace?
Is the Jira–GitHub integration free in Jira Cloud, or does it require a paid plan?
After integration, how can I link GitHub commits or pull requests to Jira issues?
I would really appreciate a simple, step-by-step explanation, as I am new to Jira.
Thank you in advance for your help.
Hi @Suraj Pawar
Log in to Jira Cloud as an admin.
Go to Settings-> Products-> Jira Settings
Open Integrations/ Developments tools
Select GitHub and click Connect GitHub
Log in to GitHub and authorize Jira
Choose the repositories to connect
