How can I integrate JIRA with ServiceNow by using only Restbased calls without using SOAP?

Hi,

I've been trying to find a suitable addon that would allow me to do the following;

An e-mail comes in from service.desk@example.com, to which JIRA will send back a reply with the following;

[ticket]ExternalTicketNumber[/ticket][reference]JiraTicketNumber[/reference] Summary/Subject "test"

I'm looking for an addon (or if it's native then that works as well) that allows me to parse the e-mail so that other end can work on combining the two tickets, rather than creating new ones given that both systems automate replies. Even turning off the automation e-mails won't really do us any favours given that when we reply back to the third party it comes off as myself or another agent.

There are other tags as well but I'd like to know if there's anything outside of JEMH that allows me to add sort of thing in.
