How can I get rid of the purple box in the mention selector?

I close it out 2457342342 times a day but it keeps coming back.

Edit (Jan 28): I have to mark this as unresolved again because even after creating a dummy team, the purple box appeared the next day.

Yeah, that's annoying. Start a team with the link, then don't use it, is the only solution I've seen so far.

Thank you Nic, that's a sufficient workaround that I'll have to use as there is no alternative.

I hope they don't see it as positive adoption for their feature, though.
