How can I fully edit a task list template?

Hi there.

I have created a task list template by using the Task sidebar menu option of "New Template from the tasks below" within a Jira ticket itself.

Now I want to do several thing with the templates that I have created.

1 - How can I rename the template names that I have already created?

2 - How can I remove tasks from a Jira ticket sidebar if I have accidentally added them from a template? When I try to remove the individual tasks sidebar list, I get the error message "This task was created from a {task} macro and cannot be deleted from the sidebar. Remove the macro to delete this task. (see screen shot)

3 - How can I add and remove tasks to an existing Task template?

4 - Basically, is there a way to fully edit, customise Task templates that I have already created?

Hi @Jeff Wilcox,

1. There must be the button Simple Tasklists Tasks on the project sidebar. You can find all the project templates here or in the global administration (go to System > Manage apps > Simple Tasklists > Task list templates, only global templates are shown by default, but you can select a specific project from a drop-down list). To edit a template click on the button Edit.
   
   
2. It looks like this task was added within a comment or a text field (like Description or other multi-line field). You can delete this task only by deleting it while editing a comment or a field.

The third and fourth questions are related to the fist one. You can edit templates either in the project settings or the global app configuration. Please also check out the app documentation here: https://simpletasks.tss.io/documentation.php

Thanks @Kseniia Trushnikova that's a big help. Just finding where to edit the task list templates was a bit of a mystery, but you've solved it for me.
