How can I force the issue collector to have the same URL when migrating servers?

We are migrating our JIRA server but the new one has a different URL for the issue collectors. Is there a way to make the issue collectors have the exact same URL as the old server to avoid having to updating all the webpages they are used on?

No, it has to use the new url because that's where you've moved Jira to.

In theory, you might be able to leave a server running, serving up the old urls and rewriting them, but because an issue collector is posting data as a one-off, I am not sure that will work.
