How can I find all tickets closed before their due date?

I tried "status changed to closed before duedate"

This does not work.

I get this error message:

"Date value 'duedate' for predicate 'before' is invalid. Valid formats include: 'yyyy/MM/dd HH:mm', 'yyyy-MM-dd HH:mm', 'yyyy/MM/dd', 'yyyy-MM-dd', or a period format e.g. '-5d', '4w 2d'."

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

unfortunately this is not possible OOTB w/ JQL. There are a number of threads discussing this with more info and solutions using say Scriptrunner or similar scripting addon. If you look to the right under Recommendations you will find this thread as as an example.
