Hi,

I am trying to change the default notification email in one of the proejcts, but when I do that no email is beingn received. I have found no logs that can help me see what the problem is. Can someone tell me how to debug such issues?

Thank you,

Teo

I would start by trying to use the Notification helper utility.  This is built into Jira Cloud and Server versions and can help you better first understand if Jira is truly configured correctly to send out notifications on the specific action in the particular project you have configured yet or not.   And if it is not, it tends to provide you with quick links on how to change that in your system quickly.

If you have already done that, and you are still not seeing notifications for events you know have taken place in Jira, then there really is not much you can do from the site itself to track those messages when using Jira Cloud.  In that case, it would probably be best to have a site-admin open a support ticket with us at https://support.atlassian.com/contact/ and select 'Technical issues and bugs'.  Please be sure to select Jira Cloud and let us know your Cloud URL in that form.  This will make sure that your question is directed to our Cloud support team that will be better able to help troubleshoot this problem.
