How can I customize a Jira-card in a team-managed project

I found how to change a card on a company managed project, but how can I do it in a team managed project?  It appears to be different, since the link showed in the -card-layout link in the help page is not available in my team-managed project

It is currently only possible to change the card layout in company-managed projects, but not in team-managed projects. The link you mentioned is only valid for company-managed projects.

There is a feature request you can watch and vote for if you like.
