How can I create test plan and test scenario for my own practice before I'll start my first job?

Hallo everyone, I graduated my school and I get my first job as a junior software tester. I want to prepare for this challenge as good as I can but Jira is so tough to learn because I can't find any good and free tutorials.

My first confusion is how can I create test plan, test cases/scenarios/test suit? I found a lot of tutorials that recommending XRAY or other apps like xray to do that but when I installed each of those tools my Jira doesn't changed. Maybe its because everyone on this kinds of tutorial skip the most important step how to configurate each app.

Can you help me and share with me your knowledge, links to good tutorials?

I'm able to create test cases, writing bunch of code in python, java, create automation tests in python/java&selenium, I have knowledge how to use git& github, SQL and so many other technologies, but the most difficult for me is Jira. PLS for help.

You can try a free cloud instance of jira at no cost and then install the xray test plug in. Link: https://www.atlassian.com/software/free

Make sure you don't put your credit card info so that it won't charge you after 30 days for the plug in.

For xray they have a bunch of tutorials on their website. For jira check the free university Atlassian videos.
