How can I create my own Jira domain if it automatically logs me into someone else's domain when I log in? I see no options to do this in either the main page or the user's page, and any time I clic on a Jira link, it redirects me to that domain.

When you say "domain" do you mean your own Site with a unique URL, like...?
https://<yourName>.atlassian.net
If so, go to the Atlassian product page for the Jira project and follow the steps to start your own trial.
