I want to create, from the app, action items in a comment. The option does not appear using "/", or by typing "[]". When I use "[]", the comment becomes uneditable as well.
On my mobile version of the Jira App (on iOS), when I add a comment to a work item, I can click the blue + button and then select Action from the list of options. I guess that would be what you're looking for.
GuiF is trying to help me, and I just tried yours, it appears that Android doesn't have the same options.
it is notable that when I add a comment "[]" in the app it doesn't recognize as a command just the text as we read it here, but if I try and edit from a computer it reads as an action box, that I can actually interact with, later, from my mobile app.
so it seems to be a lack of coding from that Android app I guess?
I do have the latest version available, and my Android is up to date.
