How can I create a subtask and fill it out at the same time?

In the old JIRA design, I could click to create a subtask, a form would open allowing me to fill out all relevant information for the subtask BEFORE creating the subtask.

Now, I have to click the `+` on the parent ticket, which gives me just a drop down to select the subtask type and the title of the task like this: https://share.getcloudapp.com/ApujJZyR

I have to create it, then open the ticket and fill in the details.

Without resorting to using the old interface (which I assume will be going away at some point in the future) how do I create a subtask all at once in the new design?

Hey Chris - In my opinion, the old Jira view is not going away anytime soon. So I would continue to create the Sub-task in the old view.l By the time that the New view might get forced on us, hopefully, they would have that fixed. My two cents.
