Our company had a few hotfixes this last year, We have broken the hotfixes into quarters January-March, April-June, July-September,October-December. Each with a few hotfixes for every month. I have the times of when the hotfixes were reported and when the hotfixes were closed in Jira. I need to be able to create a document or report that shows this mean time to resolution.

I can help you with two possible ways to perform this calculation:
1 - Export your issues to CSV (Excel) and use the application to calculate the Mean time to resolution externally
2 - Use Script Runner plugin to create a new custom field and calculate the difference between the create date and Close dates of the Hotfixes, as described in the documentation below:
