I have a list of stories from a project and plan to reuse for another project.

The list of stoies is planned as the template then use bulk change to update some fields,

This will save a lot of time to recreat the story. Another way is to save the list as csv and do a import load.

Any suggestion?

I checked Deep Clone is not showing up on my JIRA

Using Bulk Move 3 stories as test doesn't create 3 new clone stories.

Welcome to the community, @rickytam73.

I am Marlene from codefortynine.

Deep Clone for Jira is an Atlassian Marketplace app for Jira cloud and needs to be installed to your Jira instance from your Jira administrator. If you're not sure if you want to buy it, you can test our app for free for a minimum of 30 days.

Hi @rickytam73 and welcome to the community!

If you're running Jira Cloud, you could do something with automation

  • TRIGGER: Schedule (doesn't matter what schedule you set so the once per week default is fine)
    • Use a JQL statement to identify which issues you want cloned
  • ACTION: Clone Issue
    • Set the target project/issue type

Then click Run to manually execute it.  Disable the rule after it runs so that it doesn't run automatically on the schedule set in your trigger.

If you're on DC/Server, you're probably looking at the csv export/import as your best bet.

Thanks, looks like the import from a csv file will be the only option since the JIRA I am on is not the JIRA Cloud
