I'm going to publish my Jira installation on Internet and I want to change the administrator password first.
I'm not able to find the option, is it necessary to enable it?
The "change password" option is not available in the administrator profile.
We are running Jira Data Center 8.15.0

Did you connect Jira with AD for user authentication?
Then you might have to change the password there. If the users are managed only in jira, it should be possible to change the password.
