Have two different projects, same configuration, both include user stories and their sub-tasks. The problem remains in:Project A: the active sprint view shows both, US and ST in the same columns (To Do, Doing...). Subtasks are shown slightly indented, with their parent issue key shown above.Project B: the active sprint "separates" US and ST, so it allow you to see just user stories and shows their sub-tasks as a dropdown. One dropdown for each US with sub-tasks and a common one for those which has no subtasks.

How can I change the Active Sprint view?

You need to check the columns configuration as well as the swimlines. Configure both boards and replicate the setup from one to the other
