We have noticed some mistakes after creating some assets, for example a Laptop has been registered as Personal Computer. Can the asset type be changed after creation? Or ,do we have to delete this item and create it again?
Hi, @Montse Munté
It seems, that you have to check import settings. Asset category can't be changed so easy.
Asset type can be "Personal Computer" only if you in Import added Category "Personal Computer" and add assets there.
Can you make a screenshot of import settings for this asset? Of course without confidenial data (if it exists).

Well, then reason of such behavior can be next - If you have child categories, like Laptop under Personal Computer, maybe you selected wrong category, when created objects?

Someone confused the categories when creating and chose the wrong type. In this case Laptop and Personal Computer are both child categories at the same level under another category called "Computer HW".
I guess we need to delete the created asset and create it new under the right category.

It's a solution, but if there are many objects, you can simply select objects and move them from one category, to another, it's faster :)

Sorry, my error, mixed up. As I found, Cloud doesn't have such functionality.

So, yes, delete it and add again. Or export and import to correct category.
