How can I become the Jira administrator for plug-ins adding?

Hello, 

I have a problem with permissions in Jira. I am new project manager and I need to add some plug-ins to the Jira (we need to better see the work progress via some graphic plugins and reports).  The problem is, our last project manager left the company and did not give me all the permissions. In the configuration, I am now the owner of the project, I should have administration permissions, but I can not add the plug-ins. Is there any way to solve this?

Welcome to the Community!

Request your Jira Administrator it can be Site Admin or Org Administrator to include you in the Jira Admin Groups. Either Site Admin or Organization Admin. Then you can play around with apps, plugins, workflow, post functions, screens, contexts, automation etc.

You need to contact your organization jira administrator to grant you admin access or install plugin for you.

In case there is no active jira admin in your organization, then follow steps mentioned in https://confluence.atlassian.com/cloudkb/cannot-access-site-admin-account-770802088.html

Please note: Project admins will not have access to install plugins.
