How can I allow Rovo to comment on tickets for me/project manage?

Cameron Chase May 28, 2025

Hi there,

I am attempting to use Rovo to comment on all tickets that are overdue to remind the assignee that they have a piece of overdue work. I want Rovo to comment on the ticket, suggest a new due date do what they ask in the comments if possible. Is it possible to at least get Rovo to tag the assignee and comment on overdue tickets?

When I ask it to comment, it says it is leaving a comment, then I don't see anything show up.

Hi @Cameron Chase

I hope you are doing good!

To allow Rovo to comment on tickets for you or project manage, you can follow these steps:

  1. Create a Rovo Agent: First, you need to create a Rovo agent that can perform the desired actions. You can do this by going to your service project, clicking on "Automation" and then "Create Rule"
    .
  2. Set up a trigger: Set up a trigger that will activate the Rovo agent, such as when a new ticket is created
    .
  3. Add instructions to your Rovo: Add instructions to your Rovo agent that specify what actions you want it to take, such as commenting on tickets or assigning them to team members
    .
  4. Enable Rovo actions: Make sure to enable the Rovo actions you want to use, such as commenting on tickets or creating new tickets
    .

      5. Test and refine: Test your Rovo agent and refine its instructions as needed to ensure it is working as intended
