Hello All, I set up a Jira Initiative, with Epics and Stories underneath.
Now, I want to use Jira Plans to view with my Team. I want to have this set up by the Initiative so as new epics get added to the initiative, they will automatically show in my Plan. Is this possible?
I set the plan up and used one filter for my data source, just filtering on the parent (the initiative that has all my epics linked to it).
The result is, the timeline shows all my epics with "19 issues without parent", referring to my 19 epics. How can this be.
Also, how do I get the stories to show.
Thank you
Hi @Cyril James
See on the following documentation how you are able to set the hierarchy in Jira Advanced Roadmaps
Hi @Cyril James
Yes this is possible and normally how it works by default. However, the Initiative level would need to be configured to be above epics. Beyond that though can you share screenshots of your data source configuration and what your filter looks like, there maybe an issue there

Thank you! What do you mean initiative would need to be configured above epics. Each of my epics has my initiative in the Parent Link field.

So, today, I can create Initiatives>Epics>Stories>Tasks. We do this every day. We can use this hierarchy every day. Does this mean our system is set up correctly?
