I'm trying to create an automation that requires me to use my (and other users') account ID. How do I find my account ID? I tried going to admin.atlassian.com to look for users in the directory, but I don't have access that feature. When I click the link, it doesn't take me to my organization. It asks me to create a new organization.
I also researched and found that the account ID can be found in the URL after "people" on the user profile. See the screenshot of my profile URL. Is my Account ID in there?
Put this in a browser:
https://yoursite.atlassian.net/rest/api/3/myself
Watch the magic ;-)
How does that help the user find account IDs for other users?

Hello @Ian Lundy ,
Good day! Welcome to Atlassian Community :)
You can find your Atlassian account ID by the following steps:
Navigate to admin.atlassian.com
Choose your Organization, if you belong to more than one
Select Directory
Select Users
Search or scroll to find the user in question, and open their profile page
The user's ID will be in your browser's address bar following /users/
https://admin.atlassian.com/o/<org_id>/users/<user_id>More details here: https://support.atlassian.com/atlassian-cloud/kb/get-an-atlassian-cloud-users-account-id/
Thank you

The user stated they don't have access to that feature.

User needs to be an Org admin inorder to be able to check other users account ID. For checking their own ID, they can simply click on their profile icon and on the URL, it will show their account ID
Can also use the Teams feature you have suggested.

Hello @Ian Lundy
You can use the Teams feature.
Click on Teams then in the new navigation panel click on People.
Search for yourself, or the person for whom you need the account ID.
Click on the person's card. In the new display their account ID will be included in the URL of the new page, between people/ and ?cloud
