How to change the issue's history default sorting on the new issue layout?

Unfortunately, it is not possible to change the default comment order in the new issue view yet, however, we have created a feature request with our development team to get it implemented:

Configuring the 'jira.issue.actions.order' property on Jira's Advanced Settings page has no effect in the new Issue detail view

Feel free to vote and watch the suggestion to increase its priority and also receive notifications about any updates.

But I'd like to leave a feedback: it's no good to roll-out what should be an improvement without an existing feature that users rely on.
