Highlighting flagged JIRA Issue in the backlog view

Hi,

I have a few JIRA issues that are blocked because of certain dependencies. I can add a flag to them. But in the past, when I added a flag, it would highlight the issue in yellow. I am not seeing the same highlighting now. 

Additionally, after I have added a flag to a JIRA issue, I do not see an option to 'Remove flag' in the backlog view. I can only remove the flag after I open the issue and click on the 3 dots menu besides the title of the issue (elipses).

Apologies that my comment won't answer your question. I wanted to add to the subject of flags and dependencies. I'd love the system to automatically flag items that are dependant on the completion of another ticket and for that flag to, say, turn green upon completion of that dependency. It would be a quick way for engineers to see a ticket is ready to be picked up or move forward without needing high-touch from the PO.
