I am having admin access as well as user access, same as my collegue but I am not able to add fields to the screens, or when I try to access field configuration the page is broken and is not accessible.
I added a field to the layout but when i try to edit the screens , there is no edit option.
I do not have option to add new values in fields
Why is it so when I have admin access ?

What type of project are you trying to modify? You can get project type information from the View All Projects page under the Projects menu.
There are different levels of Administration access. There is Project Administrator, which can administer specific projects in limited ways. There is Jira Administrator, which can administer the entire Jira Application. And there are other admin roles that are not relevant to this question.
The path for the modifications you want to make will depend on the project type, your level of admin access, and the screens/fields you want to modify.
