We are struggling with this integration. We are trying to link manage engine service desk plus into our cloud based Jira but we have an authentication problem. We are currently using a generated API token from jira that works but the admin username seems to be the issue. Currently we are using a Jira user who we have given full admin rights too but this is being rejected on the basis that it is not the correct admin to allow integration. Can you please advise if possible what we should be using in terms of a admin username? Thank you
We have now resolved the issue with connecting to Servicedesk plus. We were trying to connect via port 8080 but should have been using 443.
Do we need to enter a line in Jira settings > Application links?
Has anyone else had to do this for manageengine?
