JIRA has suddenly started to fail on user authentication between our two systems. All was fin until 1:30am last night, The other system is a standalone and never be changed or had any development in years. I just stopped.

Has JIRA changed the way it authenticates?

Hi Jeevan,

it sounds like you are using Cloud. If so, given your claims of nothing changing I would suggest you reach out to Atlassian Support.

You don't mention if you're in a cloud instance. If so, you should contact your provider.  If not I would talk to your network folks. You would have to install a new version of JIRA for it to change how it authenticates, but network changes could cause it to fail if it is communicating with another system. The network folks will need IP address, server name, ports, and protocols you're using.
