Have someone tried upgrading from JIRA v6.3.14 to JIRA v7.1.2?

We have a stand alone JIRA setup with version v6.3.14.

We want to upgrade it to JIRA v6.3.14 to JIRA v7.1.2 and if someone had done similar, I would like to know how you guys did it.

Hi Paul!

You should aim for a higher 7.1 version if you can. I am currently doing a upgrade from same version to 7.3
You could go direct to 7.1 if you make sure Agile is higher then migration hub is recommending.

There is some major changes to API between 6 and 7 of JIRA so review that carefully before making the jump. Example scriptrunner was free in JIRA 6 and if you have a lot of scripts you might need to do a dry-run so you have all the changes done. But the plugin update check should answer all this in their respective documentation.
