Has anyone had any issues with Jira 8.01 on a linux server using MySQL as the database ?

Deleted user April 5, 2019

My company is currently running Jira 7.8 and we want to upgrade to the latest stable version. Since we are not using Microsoft SQL, should we go to version 8.02? Also, what is the difference between a Enterprise version and a version that is not Enterprise?

@[deleted] I would suggest to upgrade to latest stable Enterprise release v7.13.3 rather, and wait to upgrade to Platform Release v8.x, until you are really interested in using all the feature changes that are provided in 8.x: https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirasoftware/jira-software-8-0-x-upgrade-notes-957981660.html#JiraSoftware8.0.xupgradenotes-upgrade_procedure

Also, please read this document from Atlassian to understand the differences between Enterprise and non-Enterprise versions of Atlassian apps:

Hope it helps !
