Handling the input string to find new apps for Jira looks like a bug

When I want to install a new app for Jira I use the page "Discover apps and integrations for Jira", so I go to this page and start entering the name of the application in the search box. At this time, the text I have entered is highlighted completely and the next pressing of any key erases all selected text.

Is there any way to configure this?

Or is there a need for improvements from Atlassian?

Hi @Nikolay Myasnikov  and welcome,

I just tried and it works well. You need to enter your text and press carriage return.

It could be an issue in your current browser. Try to clean cache or try with another browser.

Hello Fabio!

Thanks for your feedback!

This thing does not depend on the browser I use (I tried FF, Edge, Chrome).
After 3-4 seconds after I start typing the text highlighting always happens. If I can enter the text completely in time, then I will of course press Enter and get what I wanted.

But if after these 3-4 seconds I have not finished entering the text, then the text will simply disappear, as is usually the case in text editors. I have to retype the name of the app in this case.

This causes some inconvenience when typing from the keyboard is slow.
