Google Chrome issues connecting to Jira Software DC

Those new to the Atlassian Community have posted less than three times. Give them a warm welcome!
I need some help troubleshooting or understanding what might be going on. For the past week, I have been dealing with a noticeable increase in connection-related issues with Jira using Google Chrome. It is always the same error message, see screenshot. My typical solution is to have the user clear browser cache and cookies or try using incognito. Most of the time, caching resolves the issue. Trying to figure out if this is related to a change with Chrome or something internal.
I have ruled out VPN Gateways and specific nodes in the clustered environment.
