I have created a new project issues list where i arranged the list columns to the ones I want to see (including custom ones)
I wanted to share it with my group so when they will open the project list they will see it with the columns as i organized
I can not find how to do it. when I am looking at the screen there is columns drop list with myDefaults option and System
when i switch to system, to use the shared one, i can not see all columns i defined or have in Mydefauls ? why ? and i do not see any way to add them
Hello Yorams,
The System display of the columns in the issue navigator is the one which will be displayed for all users that have not configured their own defaults.
Check below further details about the three options (My defaults, filter, and system) of the column view:
If the currently selected button is My Defaults, this indicates that the columns you are seeing are from your user account preferences. Filter is an available option whenever the issue search results come from a saved filter.
If you're a Jira Admin, you will also see the System tab, where you can change the columns for all users who have not set their own defaults. When administrators are configuring default columns, their permissions are ignored so that they can add a project-specific custom field from a project they don't have permissions to see. The field, though, is never shown to users that don't have permission to see it.
Additionally, If you would like to "enforce" a view in a specific format for your users, you can use the Filter Results Gadget in the system dashboard.
For more information about this feature, you can check the documentation below:

Hi Peter,
I am new to JIRA. I read the Configuring Default Issue Navigator page - how do I get to that default issue screen? All I see is a small window of issues and a display of the in-focus issue to the right. Sorry for being a noob, but issue review is key as you would expect. I am accessing via the cloud.

I saved a filter in list view, which kind of does it but that means navigating the system via Filters - surely this is wrong :-)
