Hi All,
Can anyone please advise whether it is possible to have the GitHub Jira Integration activated and allow multiple teams to connect with their individual GitHub Accounts?
Our organisation have 1 Jira instance with lots of Jira Projects, and the Teams using Github all use their Own Github instances.
Don't want to turn it on if it only allows one team to use the integration.
Could not find information specifically relating to my question in the documentation, so hoping someone here might be able to assist.
Thank you
@Biancha hi there! It is possible. Do you plan on using any integration tools? Because there are such at the Atlassian marketplace that can help you with your use case. Such a tool is ZigiOps - a fully no-code integration solution. It can help you connect your Jira with all of the Github instances bi-directionally, sync them and transfer just the data you want (via the tool's customization option). It does not store any of your data and is quite easy to use. You can see it in action via booking a demo (it's free & non-binding) and decide if it fits your needs.
Regards, Diana (ZigiOps team)

Hi @Biancha
So basically what you are trying to achieve is the following workflow:
Do you also require any communication from Jira A to GitHub B? or is it generally one project to one GitHub account?
A great way to achieve your desired use case is by using Exalate. It allows you to setup multiple (as many as needed) connections from any Jira Project to any GitHub account. It also provides very powerful flexible methods to decide for each of these connections which information you would like to send and receive. While also providing all the power you need to map custom fields or assign data to any field on the receiving side.
Exalate is a specialised solution for these types of integrations. Have a look and let me know if you need any further assistance.
