Getting error when creating a new issue

So every time I try and add a new issue to my NextGen Project I get this message below. I am attempting to add to the board via the "+" button in the column, not from the sidebar. I get the message and it does not look like the new issue is created but it is getting added to the backlog instead for some reason.
When I attempt to move the new issue from the backlog to the board, I get the same error. Any help is appreciated, thanks.
