Getting 404 when trying to edit space settings

I'm an admin for a newly created company-managed board. I need to edit/add work types before migrating issues from our previous board.

When I click on board settings > View space settings, I get a 404 error. How can I resolve this?

What is the URL on the page displaying the 404 error? Does it look something like this?

https://yourCompany.atlassian.net/jira/software/c/projects/<space key>/settings/details

While you may be an admin for the board that does not necessarily your are an admin for the Space. You may be getting that error if you are not an admin for the Space.

If you click the ... next to the Space name in the navigation panel on the left and select Space Settings do you get the same error?

Also note that a user that has only Space Admin permissions is not going to be able to add Work Item Types to a Company-managed Space. Only a Jira App Admin can make that sort of change for that sort of Space.

Thank you @Trudy Claspill ! Your last paragraph confirms what I was afraid of, that I need to place a request for adding the work types. At least now I can start the process!
