My dashboard shows "Filter for this gadget could not be retrieved" but the filters are opened to my group.
Is there anything else to check?

Check the filter used in the gadget, is this a personal filter, is this filter shared and to who, is the filter owner no longer active or has the filter been deleted?
We figured it out, there was a filter in the filter and THAT filter was private!
