Gadget Problem : Filterergebnisse (German) - Filter results is no longer available to users.

Nic Barblan July 11, 2023

Hello everyone,

It is no longer possible to add a new "Filter results" gadget. It is no longer available in the list of available gadgets.

We're using version Jira 9.4.0 and since yesterday we've had an error. No changes have been made to the server or application.

Error Message :

This gadget cannot be displayed on your dashboard. This could be due to a licensing problem or an application error. If you need this gadget, contact your administrator for assistance. Otherwise, you can remove it from your dashboard.

Question, where does this type of gadget come from, which application?

We have licences for all the applications for 250 users and we only use 186.

Where can I find information and in which logs ?

Can anyone help me? Any idee ?

Thank you in advance for your help and answers.

Nic

Hello @Nic Barblan

Welcome to the Atlassian community.

Can you provide a screen image that shows the gadget you are trying to select?

There is a built in Filter Results Gadget as per this page. But there may also be a same-named gadget coming from a third party app.

There should be a by line for the gadget that identifies the supplier.

If it is the built-in Atlassian Filter Results gadget, then I advise you to have your Jira Administrators contact Atlassian support directly for additional guidance.

Hallo Trudy,

Thank you for your message and all the information.
I'm attaching here the errors received in printscreen with the Gadgets.

As I didn't understand why it wasn't working anymore suddently, we decided with the client to restart the application and bingo, it's fully working again.

As we have version 9.4.0 installed, a 1st LTS version, we're thinking of updating the Jira applications shortly to version 9.4.8 at the latest.

Could this help us in this strange case?
