I have Jira software trial version and trying to install zephyr test management add on for 30 days free trial. Its showing as license applied and "Tests" tab is created on top too. But whenever i click on create test from Tests dropdown, its redirecting me to apply Zephyr license. I tried applying and still same issue as its showing invalid license key
And manage add-on page keeps loading ever and ever making it hard to apply license.
What to do in this case. Pls guide.
Hi @gowtham_vijay , Can you update which Jira Software and Zephyr for Jira Server Version are you using ?
Thanks ,
Surbhi
Hi,
I understand you're using Jira Cloud, but having trouble getting the Zephyr test management add-on installed and licensed. I took a look at your Jira Cloud site. Technically your Cloud site is not using a trial or evaluation for Jira. Your Jira Cloud appears to be on the Free plan right now.
There are some known limitations about using the Free plans we have documented in Limitations in Jira Cloud Free plans. These limitations can include that some add-ons/apps for Jira Cloud do not work with the Free plans. While Zephyr is not explicitly listed there, I suspect it might also have limitations on the Free Cloud plan for Jira. I would be interested to see if you can temporarily convert your Jira Cloud site into a trial/evaluation. In which state you should be able to use any compatible Cloud app found in Marketplace.
You can change your plan by following the steps on Jira Cloud plans: Change plans :
You need to be an Atlassian Cloud site admin to change a plan for your site.
- Choose Settings (
) > Billing > Manage subscriptions
- Choose Change next to your plan name
Or alternatively, spin up a new evaluation Jira site and try to add the add-on there.
Try this and let me know if this helps.
Andy
