Formatting is not consistent across projects when editing

I have this weird issue where if I edit Project 1 I see formatting for tables like this: 

while editing project 2 I see it like this:

I find project 1 really hard to use and want all my projects to look them same. 

I am using Chrome as my browser on a windows machine

Nobody else in my organization has the same problem as me. 

please Help!

Thank you for reaching out.

The screenshot from project 1 is related to the Old issue view of Jira, while the one from project 2 is related to the New issue view.

That being said, I believe the first screenshot is related to a Classic project while the other is from a Next-gen project. Can you confirm this information? To check the differences between both project templates, refer to the article below:

Working with next-gen software projects 

If you want the project 1 to also display the same New issue view, you can turn it on by following the steps below:

1. Click in your profile picture at the top-right corner > Personal Settings 
2. Scroll down to the Jira Labs section and switch on the New Jira issue view.

Important things to consider:

1. The changes here will only affect your user profile view. Since other users will not be affected by this change, you may want to ask them to do the same steps if you want everyone using the same view.
2. This change can be turned off/on as many times as you need, however, the new issue view will be the only view available to everyone from Mar 31, 2021. 
3. The old issue view is only available for Classic Software Projects. For business and Next-gen project, only the new issue view can be used.

Is one of the projects classic and the other one NextGen?

The views also appear different when using the old versus new views; have you changed your individual settings?
