In Server/Data Center there is the SAFe Epic to Feature Translator app that allows to translate the Issue Type to feature by:
- translating the Issue type itself (this is a built-in feature in Jira Cloud also)
- in JQL we can write issuetype = feature and we get the relevant issues
- in the scrum boards we have "features panel" and "create new feature", etc.
- the fields Epic Name and Epic Color and Epic Status are renamed to Feature Name, etc.
Needless to say, this app is not available in cloud due to the Atlassian connect architecture (per the vendor).
This translation of epic to feature is a mandatory requirement of our customer. The customer is not willing to change the terminology of the whole organization. It will be very very confusing for the users to start working with Jira Cloud since they are used to hierarchy of HL Epic->Feature->Story and in the cloud it will be Feature->Epic->Story.
We noticed that for Jira Data Center 8.19 there is a great feature of "Flexible Terminology":

Does anyone has any idea how to achieve the same in Jira Cloud?
