Filters do not work in JIRA Calendar Plugin

Hi.  for the JIRA calendar plug-in, I setup a filter that displays only issues I care about, and the expectation is that JIRA calendar will display releases containing only those filtered issues.

The filter works since we can see the resulting issue list. However, JIRA calendar continues to display all releases.

How can we make the filters work for the JIRA Calendar?  Tnx

I can see that this has been tagged as jira-cloud, just to confirm if you are referring to this add-on: JIRA Calendar Plugin and you are not referring to JIRA Server?

Indeed.  We are referring to the JIRA Calendar Plugin and not the JIRA Server
