Hi, I created many status filters which were working but suddenly are not.  Was there a release that came out and changed something ?  As an example, here is one of my filters:

Project=SALESFORCE AND sprint in openSprints( ) AND status in ("Ready for UAT")

Here is the error message I get:

  • An option provided by the function 'openSprints' for the field 'sprint' does not exist.
  • There are multiple custom fields with the name 'sprint'. Try using one of the following terms: cf[10003], "Sprint[Dropdown]".

Any assistance is greatly appreciated.  Thank you.

It sounds like someone created a new custom field with the name of 'sprint' (or 'Sprint', it's not case-sensitive). Since your queries were created when there was only a single field with that name, it didn't specify the custom field ID as part of the query.

As a general rule, I think it's not a great idea to have multiple fields with the same name (even though Jira allows it). Probably the quickest way to take care of this is to look at your custom fields and change the name of the one that isn't the built-in field (it will have a 'Locked' icon next to it).

full disclosure:  I don't use Cloud, just DC, but I'm pretty sure the functionality works the same.

Hi,

Can you look at the fields in your instance, it seems that you have several Sprint field in Jira.
