Filter query

I have created a filter with displaying certain custom fields. The filter results are fine however i add the same filter to my dash board i can only see Issue type,key and summary. If i take the efforts and add the custom field manually in the dashboard there is no place where i can order the coloum display. so I'm having hard time as i created a filter with certain field however they are not coming up when i add it on the dashboard.

It sounds like the gadget you are using does not support the ordering of fields - what gadget is it and what version of Jira?

Oh. Right. You can't do it in that version. You need to upgrade to Jira 5.2 to get a gadget that does column orders.
