Filter does not Work for Text Fields

I have created a Filter with a particular word in Description field.

Description ~ 'ABC'

in one of the tasks i have removed the ABC word but still the task is returned in filter query

Can you please help.

What is the JQL query save in your filter ?

below is the query saved in filter. but i see tasks where description does not have word ABC.

project = GAB AND issuetype = Task-B AND fixVersion = "Project01" AND description ~ ABC
