Is it possible to set up a reminder that will email me on a certain date/time about a specific ticket? I don't want to set up an automation every time I need to be reminded of a ticket, but it would be nice if I could set myself a reminder to check back at a certain time. Sort of like how I can in Slack.
For example: I am waiting on a reply from someone on my team within the comments of the ticket. I want to set a reminder for myself for 2 days, to ping them directly if I haven't heard back yet.
It could be something as simply as /remind @{{user}} {{description of reminder}} on {{date}} at {{time}}
There are several apps that offer "reminder" feature for Jira Cloud: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/search?hosting=cloud&product=jira&query=reminder
My top picks would be these:
Hope this helps!
I made a small Jira app for exactly this. Open HandoffPing on the issue, type the reminder, choose Me, and set it for two days from now. Jira will send the note together with the issue link.
You can also send it to whoever is assigned when the reminder fires. It can repeat every day until the issue is Done, too.
It's free and runs on Forge. You can find HandoffPing on the Atlassian Marketplace:

If you don't want to install an app, the filter subscription suggested above is probably the best built-in workaround. It just takes a bit more setup.

Hi @Abby Kiesling ,
You can try filter subscription feature.
You can give have reminder date on ticket and create filter, where reminder date is current date (or your required criteria) and subscribe the filter.
