On the Kanban view, you can get Avatar Quick Links which allow you to quickly click on a team member and see just the tasks that are assigned to them.
This functionality doesn't exist on the calendar view, but would be incredibly useful when reviewing resource availability using the calendar to filter down teams and employees.
At the moment, you need to Click on the Assignee dropdown and type in the employees name (it doesn't seem to keep a list of all of the ones you use regularly there, only showing the last one or two).
If the calendar was able to use the same Avatar Quick Link functionality as the Kanban board where you click on the avatar to filter down by assignee, it would be incredibly useful.
Rovo suggested setting up Quick Filters, but Quick Filters are also not supported on the Calendar View. Rovo corrected itself when queried about this.
Welcome to the Atlassian community. I like your suggestion!
I want to check if there's already an open feature request for this. Community questions alone don't justify adding it to the roadmap or gathering more supporters.
Hello @Jamie Maguire
Calendar view supports assignee filtering, but it does not have the same persistent avatar quick-link strip as the Kanban board.
For a feature request, please let your Admin Raise an Ticket to Atlassian Support.
Closest one to your use case are [JWMCLOUD-600] Ability to customize display field on calendar - Create and track feature requests for Atlassian products. but it´s already quite old.
Best,
Arkadiusz🤠
