Feasibility Study for Projects

Hello, 

I'm an intern whose company is planning to start using Jira Software for its IT projects. However, Controlling department wants IT department to make a feasibility study on Jira Software in a way that can be seen and approved by them. After the project is approved, they would also like to track the expenses and monitor the budget of the project on Jira Software. So the two departments work in collaboration on the software. Would this be possible?

What are the parameters of the feasibility study?  You can definitely do this for them and provide them access.  As far as monitoring and tracking expenses you can do this in Jira.  How will you track this?  If you are doing it through logging time then you will have some manual work to do or you can get an app like tempo timesheets and tempo budget to make it easy for you.  Having multiple departments work together is not an issue and is really what the program was made for, collaboration.
